Hola Mexican Restaurant Shenzhen and Foody Meetup

After a short break for Christmas and New Year, Shenzhen Eat Foody Meetups were back with a bang, with a hugely successful Mexican night meetup at popular establishment Hola in Coco Park.

This meetup got a very popular reception, with spaces filling up quickly upon announcing it. With over 40 guests, and lots of new and old faces, this was a fun night filled with good conversation, banter, and of course, great food.   After a little bit of a slow start the food starting coming out at good intervals, and everyone being left full and happy.  A hallmark of Shenzhen Eat foody Meetups.

The menu was kept simple, with the top selling, well known dishes served up to great appreciation from a group of hungry foodies.  The Tacos, Pork Flautas, Churros and Chicken Molcajete were all top quality, with both meat and vegetarian options available.  The Chicken Molcajete especially was a favourite.  And the Jamaica water was a very pleasant surprise and something I will definitely order again in the future.

The night was a great success, with people leaving happy and full, and some kicking on to other bars to continue the night.  Thanks to everyone for the support, we really do appreciate it.  Thanks to Hola for hosting us and making everyone feel welcome.  It is not easy doing these meetups, and I thought Hola did a great job.
