Christmas can be a lonely time for some people, especially if they are far away from home. I personally have never been BIG on xmas as my family will tell you, even being a bit of a scrooge at times.
However since living in China, with the expat community being so small I find myself celebrating it more and more. Odd that, I guess company is more welcome when far away from the creature comforts of home.
Recently I attended a Chrismtas party in SZ, with mulled wine and fruit punch, turkey sandwhiches and cheese it was a festive spirit and made me appreciate the holiday more. A nice group of people and a lot of laughs.
Not sure what my point is in sharing this, except its nice to get things down in black and white sometimes.
