Waiting for the boat to whisk me off to my next destination I loved this. An old prison turned into a park I liked this mix of Thai and Chinese styles together Joined a Meetup.com event to sample Indian sweets. Great way to spend an afternoon Wat Devaraj Kunchon is a huge temple with ornate architecture and beautiful Buddha statues and shrines. There are several buildings for you to check out each one with it's own style and character. It's quite busy here as it's a school, and has active monks milling around. As with all places in Thailand, everyone is extremely friendly. Worth combining with Wat Rachathiwat as they are so close. Check out the giant Buddha footprint Very hidden wat but worth checking out. I like the character here with lots of different statues and shrines. As with most temples here It's perfect for quiet reflection, prayer or meditation. The grounds are nice to roam too. Beautiful temple away from the busy city centre The weird and wonderful Thai Naval Museum. Definitely one of Bangkok’s hidden gems Airport themed mall in Bangkok
