The longer I live in Shenzhen the more contacts I make and the more networking I do. A lot of newer people ask me for recommendations and things to do places to go etc. So I decided to put together an afternoon for lovers of coffee to get together and discuss all things SZ
I found a cool venue, negotiated a cool 10% deal off, wrote a wechat article ( chinese social platform APP), spammed it around and hoped for the best. Thankfully 13 people turned up and the afternoon was a big success. Met some new people and they were new to SZ and having a tough time of it, so managed to offer some good advice and helped them settle in.
These are the kinds of events I wish I went on when I 1st arrived. Big thanks to Crafy Events for helping me put it together and thanks to Teacher coffee for hosting us.
