Very solid fish and chips near Chegongmiao. The owner is a local who lived in Australia for many years. Simple QR ordering system with English and food is served very fast The deep fryer is hot because the fish is crispy and not oily. The fish fillet is boneless and its seabass. I’d prefer cod but that would push the price up dramatically. The portion is big and the price good. Fish chip and drink for under 50 Also has fish fingers, fried oyster, fried prawn and more. It’s all deep fried so don’t expect a health kick. The boss is super friendly and chatty. Some outdoor seating and decoration is simple Overall very satisfied experience and I’ll be back in the future.

Dessa’s Fish and Chips is definitely worth the travel for a proper fix. Highly recommended. The owner is fluent in english and communicates in different languages. Unfortunately it is currently closed and the owner said he will reopen else where at a later date.
