Shenzhen Eat Foody Meetups return with a Thursday night Mexican meetup at popular hotspot La Lupita. The night was a big success with us completely taking over the whole venue. It was a mix of familiar faces and new members, and with drinks flowing and great conversation the night was a lot of fun.
The evening got off to a great start with each guest being immediately greeted with a strong and tasty margarita. After meeting and greeting we sat down and the food come out in good time with enough space between each dish. The fish taco was the resounding favourite dish, although the ceviche was also fresh and flavourful. Another star was the salsa for the chips which some people ordered more and more of. All the dishes were good, and I’m sure many of the guests will be back in future.

The night didn’t end after the food though, with many us staying until the early hours, enjoying the atmosphere and of course the strong drinks. Thanks to everyone who came, and thanks to La Lupita and especially Fernando for hosting us. The service was absolutely spot on.
