The Giant reclining Buddha at Wat Pho is usually on most Bangkok ‘to do lists’ and rightly so. It is indeed quite a sight. At 200 baht a ticket its not the cheapest place but I like to think the money goes towards the upkeep of the temple.

It gets quite busy here as it is a popular tourist spot, usually in combination with Wat Arun and even the Royal Palace which are all nearby. It has several buildings to look at, with nice architecture ,but of course the main highlight is the Giant Buddha.

I love the detail here, especially on the feet and on the back of the head.
