Probably top of most ‘to do lists’ in Bangkok, this is one of the most visited spots in the whole city.

Quite expensive at 500 baht but you do get to see some incredible architecture and religious monuments. The Palace is as you’d expect from the name, very grand. Huge building, beautiful statues, gorgeous gardens, lots of doorways to explore. It’s awesome. I would also suggest checking out the temple that’s located within the ground of the palace.

Everything around here revolves around The Grand Palace. From traffic to transportation. Nearby is Wat Pho and across the river is Wat Arun so you can make a full day.

Highly recommended for first time visitors to Bangkok.
