Words can’t describe this majestic structure.  Breathtaking architecture all around you.  Difficult not to gape in awe.   Absolutely on the Bangkok must visit lists.

It is not the biggest place, although the grounds are bigger than they appear and are nice to walk. There are also auxiliary temples around that are worth checking out.

Easily reached by boat.  100 baht fee which goes to maintenance. I suggest combining with Wat Pho on the opposite side of the river.

Want to go?

Search Wat Arum on maps

158 Thanon Wang Doem, Wat Arun, Bangkok Yai, Bangkok 10600

Ticket 100 baht

8am-6pm daily

I suggest going to Sathorn Pier ( Saphin Taksin BTS) and getting the boat to Wat Arun. The staff there will be bale to guide to the right boat.

ANOTHER GREAT TEMPLE OPTION HERE
