Teak House Museum. Hidden Gem in Bangkok

Bangkok has many quirky and interesting spots. Some well known, others not. This Golden Teak Museum is one of the lesser known ones.

I discovered it when checking out a nearby temple, and decided to take a look. And it was quite an interesting diversion. The majority of the house and items inside are made from teak. You can read the history of it in the pictures below.

ANOTHER BANGKOK HIDDEN GEM HERE

There are a couple of floors and rooms to check out, with pictures of people and events, as well as furniture, statues etc. It’s a nice way to get your history in.
