Getting the bus in Bangkok

Getting the bus in Bangkok isn’t as bad as you think. Look for the bus stations on the sidewalk, and look at the ‘bus numbers’ that stop there.

Typical Bangkok bus station

Check the bus station information to see the bus numbers and which direction it’s going and the major stops it has.

Some stations will have the ‘major’ stops along the route.
check the direction, if it’s wrong cross the road and use the other side

If in doubt can always say BTS or MRT.  The ticket person will speak limited English but will understand station names.  And I always check Google maps at the bus stop to see where it’s going.

This was an AC bus and was comfortable. Some aren’t AC.
