Great Turkish choice in Luohu

Istanbul Kebab House is a Turkish restaurant located in Luohu. Not to be confused with the Istanbul Cafe in Huaqiang North, this is a standalone restaurant.

Located seconds from the metro this is large and spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are very friendly and accommodating with English and Chinese languages being available.

The food is high quality with lots of emphasis on meat dishes, as you’d expect from a Turkish eatery. The mixed grill, lamb chop, and donna kebabs are all popular choices and very big portions. The lamb in particular is excellent. The bread and hummus is also not to be missed. A hallmark of a good Middle Eastern restaurant. There are a variety of other dishes available too such as pizza and pasta

For tea and coffee lovers the Turkish varieties of these are rich and strong but not to everybody’s taste. There are also 8 shisha varieties here too.
