The Shenzhen Eat moved onto yet another new theme for Foody Meetup. This time is was Thai night at Aroimakmak Thai restaurant. This was also a return to Saturday nights, and it was extremely popular, selling out out very quickly.
With lots of new faces, and some returning regulars, it was a great crowd that assembled for a 7 course feast. And feast it was, with almost too much food on offer. The dishes came out at frequent intervals, and each one was well received. The portions were big, and the food fresh and well cooked. Overall it was a master class in Thai cuisine. It is hard to pick a winning dish, but my personal favourite was the lemon grass fish, and the beef brisket Both highly recommended choices. But truthfully all the food was excellent. The service too was on point, with friendly smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.
