Salt & Talk Foody meetup Shenzhen Shekou

Shenzhen Eat Foody Meetups returned to SeaWorld for a Friday night meetup at popular haunt Salt & Talk.  This was a much anticipated meetup, with Salt & Talk having built up a good reputation in the city during the short time its been open.

We at Shenzhen Eat always try to do something different with our meetups, and this was no different, having arranged an exclusive tasting menu for us to share.   With around 40 people in attendance, this was a raucous crowd of eager foodies looking forward to sampling some good food and enjoying great company.

The dishes came out in good time, with each course spaced out to give people time to enjoy and discuss.  The service was good, with staff on hand to help, its never easy with such a big group and I think they did a great job.

The star of the night was of course the food, and Salt & Talk really delivered a great menu.

The dip especially was superb, with some wanting to buy it to take it home.  There was good variety in the dishes, with perennial favourites such as pizza and quesadillas being well received and the less common churros also proving popular.  There was ample food for everyone and nobody left hungry. The steak did divide opinion, with picanha being a more fatty cut than other types, ,meant it was not to everyone’s taste.

Thanks to everyone who came, we really appreciate your support. Please feel free to make any suggestions for improvements or for future venues
