Lhong 1919 Chinese style architecture in Bangkok

This was a weird place. When I went it was an absolute ghost town. Don’t know if it’s because of COVID19 but it was completely empty and virtually shut down. I read some good reviews online it they were all pre-2020 so I hope this place can get back on its feet soon.

Completely empty

Some nice traditional style Chinese courtyard architecture and some nice river views. But apart from that nothing much to see. There was a tea shop and an art gallery here but both were closed (on my visit).

It is however a great photography location due to the setting and quietness. There are lanterns, wish ribbons, wooden staircases, traditional buildings, lotus flowers, dragons and all the other stuff you’d associate with China.
