So a little more about me. Well for the last 3 years I’ve been an ESL teacher in Shenzhen, China. I will talk about various aspects of this over the next few weeks and months. But I will say dont believe everything you read in forums and on FB. Because had I listened to these I NEVER would have taken the step and tried it out, they were mostly horror stories. That even counts for this blog, dont believe it as gospel truth because at the end of the day its just my opinion.
It is definately the best thing I have ever done, its provided me with the opportunity to travel and see the world (8 countries in 3 years so far) while making a good income to plan for the future. And more than that, its made me become more confident in myself, I can walk into crazy situations and deal with it. I can teach random strangers. I can go to a new place and navigate my way around. Its literally changed my life. So I will sya if you are on the fence about doing it, just do it (appologies to Nike).
