DongHu park is one of the older parks in Shenzhen and is one of the more characteristic ones. Located in deep Luohu this is not the easiest park to get to. It is big but not too big and can easily be walked in an hour or 2.

As you would expect from the name ‘East Lake’ park, there is a lake here that goes through the center of the park and you can cross it by using many different bridges. There is a large green area that is perfect for picnics or playing games, and lots of trees for a hammock to take a rest.

The park is adorned with various statues, including animals, zodiacs and famous Chinese icons.

If you’re looking for a nice place to talk a walk in Luohu then this is a good choice for you
